We respect your privacy. Here is a clear explanation of what data we collect, why, how we store it, and how you can delete it.

1. General

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter, the “Policy”) describes how the charitable foundation “Your Help UA” (hereinafter, the “Foundation,” “we”) collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal data of visitors to the website yourhelpfund.org.ua (hereinafter, the “Website”), donors, volunteers, and partners.

By using the Website, you confirm that you have read the terms of the Policy and agree to them.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data that is necessary for the specific purposes described below:

2.1. Contact details you provide voluntarily

  • First and last name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Company name (for partners)
  • Content of messages sent through forms on the website

2.2. Donation data

  • Donation amount
  • Date and method of transfer
  • Payer’s banking details (only to the extent received from payment systems)

2.3. Technical data

  • IP address
  • Type of device, browser, operating system
  • Date and time of visiting the Website
  • Pages you viewed

Technical data is collected automatically through web analytics systems (for example, Google Analytics) — in anonymized form. We do not match it to specific individuals.

3. Why we use the data

  • To respond to your inquiries — when you fill out forms on the website or write to us by email.
  • To process donations — payment confirmation, reporting, issuing receipts or agreements.
  • For volunteer selection — processing volunteer applications, coordinating participation in briefings.
  • For analytics and website improvement — identifying errors, optimizing the structure, improving usability.
  • To fulfill legal obligations — accounting, tax reporting, storage of primary documents.

4. How long we store data

  • Donation data — at least 5 years from the date of donation (accounting requirement).
  • Volunteer applications — until the end of the season + 1 year.
  • General inquiries via the contact form — up to 2 years from the last interaction.
  • Technical data (analytics) — automatically anonymized after 14 months.

5. Who we share data with

Foundation does not sell personal data to third parties. Data is shared only in the following cases:

  • Payment systems (bank, PayPal, etc.) — to the extent necessary to process the donation.
  • Government authorities — upon a lawful request (tax authority, police, court) in cases предусмотрено by law.
  • Data processing contractors — an accounting LLC, hosting provider — provided that a confidentiality agreement has been signed.

6. Cookies

The website uses cookies for:

  • Saving your language preferences.
  • Visit analytics (anonymized).
  • Remembering what you have already filled out in the form to avoid duplication.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some website functions may not work properly without cookies.

7. How we protect data

  • The website operates over a secure HTTPS connection.
  • Only authorized Foundation employees have access to personal data.
  • All employees have signed a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Backups are stored in encrypted form.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • Receive complete information about your data that we store.
  • Request correction or updating of data.
  • Request deletion of data (except for those that must be retained by law).
  • Withdraw consent to data processing.
  • File a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

To exercise these rights, write to info@yourhelpfund.org.ua. We will respond within 30 calendar days.

9. Children and personal data

We are do not collect knowingly personal data of children under 14 without the consent of parents or guardians. If you discover that a child has provided data without consent, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to the Policy

We reserve the right to update this Policy. The current version is always available at yourhelpfund.org.ua/privacy-policy. In case of significant changes, we will notify users on the website homepage or via email.
